I don't know why but every since I can remember I have loved writing. I think it might be the simple fact that it gives you the opportunity to create a world, your own, personal universe and then you dwell within it for an undefined amount of time exploring the delicate psyche of a character or characters that live there. It is an actual adeventure and, even for the writer, it is exciting to find out what the characters are going to do next. I thin everyone should attempt writing at least once in their lives; if only to use it for an escape it is still worth the attempt and potential failure. Below are a few examples of some of my writing (just 3 poems, 3 short stories, an excerpt from a one-act play, and an excerpt from one of the novels I am trying to write):
