For the past six years one of my major hobbies has been the practical application of the mind in the physical world...which is a very verbose way to say the pursuit of psychic skills. For some reason it interests me a lot. This probably stems from my fascination and active study of all things paranormal. For me, this is the ultimate in paranormal because all others can be encompassed under The Mind, especially when it comes to philosophy. So, since this is my website, I wanted to link to some of my favorite pages for techniques. If you are interested please take a look, if not, go away!!!

The main thing that you must work on for these techniques is visualization because most of them focus on training your mind to visualize things that aren't happening. This helps later in the manifestation of energy.

Defiition of psychic skills:

There are an incredible amount of psychic skill definitions for different aspects but basically psychic skills are the of the mind to manipulate the natural energy present in all things. This art can be broken into many different subsections all of which I have not the time to mention here but this definition holds true for all forms.

Why I believe:

• I personally am a very scientific thinker, everything must have a logical explanation for me to believe it, psychic skills are no different. I am also a very open person, I like to try new things on a regular basis. So, with psychic skills, I believe because I have seen it work, I have seen it help me and my practitioner friends and I have seen it work brilliantly. Plus has been incredible helpful for me in my life. I guarantee that if you try psychic skills for a significant amount of time (things don't happen over night) and with an open mind that you will eventually get results.

Why I think its useful:

• The main focus of these techniques is to learn to focus and visualize which, like the meditation involved, is a very important skill to use in life. It adds to your ability to function as a useful member of society.

• Psychic skills are some form of magic - NO!!!!!! psychic skill are merely the manipulation of all energy surrounding us using the mind, see definition.

The sites I like best:

• Wingmakers: This website is fantastic for visualization but it's better for the more advanced practitioners.
• Psipog: This is a comprehensive schedule for those interested. Two months worth of exercises in an orderly fashion.
• Anka's Training Manual: This website has fantastic definitions of what things are and gives an excellent compendium of exercises for the person who is interested.
• The Teachings of Ki: This one uses the idea of "ki" rather than psi like most of the others, it is very useful and more practical and "fast" than the others.
